Efisol Indications
- Local antiseptic treatment of inflammation of the mouth and throat caused by pathogens susceptible to the drug (catarrhal, ulcerative, fibrous gingivitis, aphthous stomatitis, candidiasis (thrush), pharyngitis, tonsillitis, laryngitis and glossitis).
- In the treatment of more serious throat infections in combination with antibiotics and sulfonamides.
- Prevention of infections before and after surgery in the mouth and throat.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients. Thrombosis, susceptibility to thrombosis, thrombophlebitis, severe kidney disease, diabetes, fructose intolerance, lactase deficiency or malabsorption syndrome Lappa glucose-galactose. Allergy to quaternary ammonium compounds (eg benzalkonium chloride).
Dosage & Administration
Adults and children aged 4 years of use 1 tablet for sucking every 2-3 hours (not more than 8-10 tablets per day).
Tablets are not chewed. After receiving patients are advised not to eat or drink for 30 minutes.
The treatment is recommended to continue for another 1-2 days after the disappearance of symptoms. Duration of treatment should not exceed 5-7 days (there is a threat of disruption of the normal bacterial flora in the mouth and throat).
